What is Crystal Healing?

Crystal Healing is a natural, gentle, and non invasive holistic treatment that works by activating the body’s own healing mechanism to bring you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually back into balance, and to harmonise the mind, body and spirit to increase our feeling of wellbeing. It neutralizes negativity, lifts depression and helps us to become integrated and focused.

Each variety of crystal has its own unique internal structure that causes it to resonate at a certain vibration frequency which in turn stimulates the body’s natural healing mechanism.

Crystals affect our electro-magnetic energy fields (aura) that permeates the physical body and can have a positive effect on our health. Crystals bring colour and light into the aura, the physical body via the chakra system and the subtle layers of the body.

A treatment usually lasts about 45mins with 10mins consultation time. You will be asked to lie on a couch fully clothed and crystals will be placed in your hands and intuitively on your chakras, energy fields or aura to cleanse, balance and harmonise your overall mind and body. Treatments are different for each visit depending on what you need.

What is Crystal Meridian Therapy?

Meridian/Acupuncture Therapy originated in Asia over 5000 years ago. Ancient Chinese medicine philosophers worked out acupuncture points on the body through Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM); this then later formed the basis of the Meridian System. The Chinese practiced acupuncture trials and they found points with similar effects on the body were always distributed in an organised pattern. After clarification and analysis, a meridian map was created.

There was a correlation of certain illnesses with acupuncture points that was recognised through every day experiences, therefore the Chinese people gradually recognised when a particular disease or organ disorder occurred, they would feel pain in a particular part of their skin, which was associated with a rash or skin colour changes. These correlations were analyzed according to the ancient philosophies such as the Ying – Yang and the Five Element theories.

The meridian system is made up of acupressure vessels, located throughout the body. They contain a free-flowing colorless, non-cellular liquid which may be partly actuated by the heart. The meridians have been measured and mapped by modern technological methods, electronically, thematically, and radioactively. There are specific acupuncture points along the meridians which are electromagnetic in character, and consist of small, oval cells called Bonham corpuscles which surround the capillaries in the skin, the blood vessels, and the organs throughout the body.

Each of the acupressure points on the meridians relate to areas of your body where there is a potential dis-ease.

How are Crystals used in Meridian Therapy?

Traditionally needles are used to unblock the acupuncture points on the meridians, crystal pendulums are used to identify where the points are blocked and crystal wand points are used  to unblock the points allowing the flow of Chi/energy to flow freely around the meridian relieving the body of mental or physical ailments.

How are Crystals used in Crystal Reflexology?

Crystal Reflexology works in the same way as standard reflexology. With the integration of crystals they enhance the treatment of the client with their energies and vibrations therefore providing greater results.

Whilst using crystals minimal pressure is applied to the areas of the foot reflexes and the energy centres (chakras) which are located along the inner side of the foot, thus unblocking, healing and balancing creating a sense of calm, peace and well being.

Advantages of Crystal Reflexology are that it is less painful or uncomfortable to that of the standard reflexology. It rebalances and harmonizes on all levels, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
